On Thursday October 15th, 2009 Dana Ahmed Majeed Sulaimaniyah Governor met with the British commercial companies' delegate headed by David Lloyd the head of the commercial delegate which consisted of varies companies in the fields of education and training, consultancy, technical equipment export, perfumery manufacturing, HR consultancy, recruitment, pharmaceuticals and engineering and many other fields and KRG representative in Britain. In the meeting each one of the British companies clarified their work and activities to Sulaimaniyah Governor and expressed their readiness if the area is appropriate they will do investment and cooperate in the reconstruction, developing and improving the infrastructure of Kurdistan Region and Sulaimaniyah Governorate. In return Sulaimaniyah Governor thanked the British commercial companies' delegate and presented the major necessities of governorate, also his Excellency asked them to cooperate Kurdistan Region and Sulaimaniyah Governorate in the development of bank system, bank insurance, GIS, laboratories of construction, quality control, and bringing specialized in those fields and opening training course for Kurdish cadres in their country, also his Excellency reiterated that the bank system in Iraq is an old system so far hasn't been done any changes in it and still this system remained as a centralized way by government and caused a lot of delaines in work, at the same time Sulaimaniyah Governor sent his message to the British companies for encouraging them to invest in Kurdistan Region .
