On Thursday September 24th, 2009 Dana Ahmed Majeed, Sulaimaniyah Governor received Ali Raza Omedi the new appointed Iranian Consul in Sulaimaniyah.

 In this meeting which was held in Sulaimaniyah Premises with the presence of Kawa Abdulla Chairman of Sulaimaniyah Provincial Council, Kurdistan Sewkani, Ahmed Haji Rashid members of PC and members of Iranian- PUK relationship, Ali Raza Omedi Iranian Consul in Sulaimaniyah discussed the preparation of Iranian Consulate for bringing a commercial delegation of Iranian Tabrez Governorate to Sulaimaniyah, for strengthening the commercial exchange and facilitation for progressing the economical relations between both sides.

 In the meeting Sulaimaniyah Governor preferred to make more efforts for strengthening the commercial and economical relations, also his Excellency clarified to Iranian Consul that Sulaimaniyah Governorate according to citizen's census system distributes budget to the areas in Sulaimaniyah Governorate and presents different services projects for the residents.
